The client
Men In Kilts specializes in window and other cleaning services for residential and commercial clients, with many franchise locations across Canada and the U.S.A. Their friendly technicians wear authentic kilts as uniforms.
The goal
Feature the fun and eye-catching brand of Men In Kilts and promote their cleaning services. The high-contrast lettering and tartan pattern create highly visible marketing for urban and residential areas. All vehicle wraps feature the Men In Kilts mascot, Kiltie, and the catchphrase “No Peeking!”

Each Men In Kilts vehicle wrap is custom-designed to 1:10 scale in Illustrator, in vector format, following the brand standards for type, colour, and proportions.
Details and specs
From 2013 to 2019, I designed dozens of Men In Kilts vehicle wraps for vans, pickup trucks, compact cars, and lifters, each featuring unique services and measurements. I quickly developed a reliable, replicable process to ensure that wraps met spec and served individual franchisee needs.
On the job, technicians use the wrapped vehicles for business-related travel and hauling. They also join community events, support local charities and help raise awareness for important causes.
Applications and use
Turning a Genie S-85 Boom Lift into a dinosaur
The creative-minded team at Men In Kilts Calgary wanted to wrap a boom lift as a dinosaur, and the kid in me was ecstatic to bring it to life. We were limited in the number of colours and coverage for details, but the contrasting dark and light greens made for a great dinosaur skin texture.
Promo materials
In addition to vehicle wraps, I helped systematize the design of flyers, postcard campaigns, tradeshow materials, and social media ads across Canada and America. I also helped design and develop digital content offers, where I contributed ink illustration diagrams of services and tools.
Challenges and important points
Men In Kilts provides specific cleaning services that often need explanation or photographic examples. It was essential to highlight the range and value of professional cleaning to help potential clients address their needs.
